Ozzy was born on November 11th 2007, he had 9 siblings. When Ozzy was 7wks old he had an accident, we think he had jumped onto the hay rack and got his left leg caught and twisted it trying to get out causing him to lose control in his legs. He was given anti flamitory jabs which did not help and the vet said he was permantely parylised and i could either take him home as he was in no pain or have him put to sleep. He was taken home and had his own cage inside the house where he could see what was going on. He was exercised daily, he could scoot along the carpet and continued to grow and be happy. One day his leg ceased up completely and was permantely stretched out, he was returned to the vet where the vet thought it was his leg just injured and not his spine. The leg had twisted and the knee had popped out the socket, the vet manage to get it back into place and said he thinks there was a bone broke in his foot and said that physio could help him. Ozzy gave up his fight to live on May 15th 2008 at 1am, i was with him to the end, he will be sadly missed and was such a fighter. R.I.P Ozzy.
Precious Love
The agony is so great...
and yet I will stand it.
Had I not loved so very much...
I would not hurt so much.
But God knows I would not want to diminish
that precious love...
By one fraction of an ounce.

And I will be grateful for that hurt

Beyond the Rainbow
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.
